I wish to object to this development on the grounds that it provides insufficient parking, the application only provides 8 parking spaces for 15 dwellings. Insufficient parking spaces will adversely affect the amenity of surrounding properties through roadside parking on Watling Street. Watling Street consists of mainly terraced houses without off road parking and this development would result in a loss of parking for local residents. It’s also not clear from the plans how the parking spaces would be accessed, if this was around the boundary of the short stay carpark at the rear of the development it would impact on availability of parking in the short stay car park, impacting on parking for visitors to the town and local businesses.
