If these dwellings have no allocated parking then they will be vying for already very limited spaces with existing residents. If the developer wishes to pursue this, perhaps they would propose or support some ideas to alleviate the general parking situation in the immediate area. This could come in the form of a residents' permit scheme or allocated residents' parking. It would make the apartments themselves more attractive to buyers and would alleviate parking problems already created by the Moat Lane development and forthcoming road-widening scheme which have seriously affected several residents of Watling Street.
