This development will add further strain on to the local grange park area and impact local services. The increase in traffic will cause congestion at the Wootton Road / Wooldale Road junction particularly at peak times. Children from the Grange Park area use this route at these peak times when walking to Caroline Chisholm school, increasing the risk of a road safety incident. There is a potential increase on applicants to local schools with such a large housing development, which are struggling to cope with current demands. This large housing development would impact on local wild life and will have a long term effect on wild life habitat surrounding this development.
