The revised plans are ill-considered and create as many issues as they resolve. The new school adds to the volume of people that will use the path next to our home. There’ll be a large number of cars parking at the end of our close for school drops offs, increasing danger for young children and issues where our cars may be blocked on our drive. Road parking is already an issue in Grange Park and this will make it worse. A 50% mix of social housing is out of line with the general population and will create a new area with a higher risk of social issues. Creating an unbalanced neighbourhood with the associated issues will reduce the value of houses in the area. The proposals remain poorly thought through with clearly no consideration on the impact of local residents, and I continue to strongly object to the proposed development as it stands.
