I support developments that increase the number of homes. This is essential with a growing population. I do not object to the location of this proposed development. It does not impact the general enjoyment of anybody’s home in terms of a view or increased traffic down their street. I do however have concerns with the high number of affordable/social homes planned within this development. Research has showed that higher concentrations of social housing lead to crime and anti-social behaviour. This development should be reviewed to have a lower number of affordable homes to eliminate this risk.
