Application Number format
Please note the format for application number is S/YYYY/NNNN/TYPE
(i.e. S/2005/0199/LB, S/1996/0066/P)
You do not need to enter the full number if you do not know the last part
Location, Proposal, Agents and Applicants Name
You do not need to enter the full name or description, a search may be run on just a part of the field e.g. "extension" in the location field will find any application with the word "extension" included in the description. It can even be shortened to "ext" to achieve the same result
Agents and Applicants Names (for applications received after 1988 only)
Valid Date formats
Please note the format for dates is DD/MM/YYYY
(i.e. 01/01/2005, 1/1/2005)
General Information
When searching for planning applications you may not find all those you require. This may be due to several reasons, such as properties or sites being known by two or more names, different spellings of the agent's or applicants names or limitations to the data on earlier applications (please read the search help on each search field for further help) . If you do not find the records you are expecting to find either a) make your search a little less specific i.e. don’t enter the whole address, try using just part or it or don’t complete as many search criteria or b) contact the Planning and Leisure Division of South Northamptonshire Council.
